Not every drone nearby is a problem. Our systems identify drone types and pinpoint operator locations, so you can respond with confidence rather than guesswork.
Overview
From 'there's a drone' to 'here's what it is'
An alert on its own only tells you something is in the air. Identification tells you what it is, who is likely flying it and whether it’s a genuine concern — the difference between a confident response and a false alarm.
Our equipment decodes drone signals to recognise the make and type, reads Remote ID where available, locates the pilot, and lets you whitelist your own or approved drones so your team only reacts to the ones that matter.
Identifies drone brand and type
Reads Remote ID and DroneID broadcasts
Locates the pilot as well as the drone (within 10 m on SG-RFP-16)
Whitelist approved drones to cut false alarms
Visual confirmation with EO / thermal cameras
How it works
Identify, locate, decide
Identification combines signal analysis, positioning and visual confirmation.
01
Decode
Radio detection and protocol decoding recognise the drone type and read its Remote ID or DroneID broadcast.
02
Classify
The system checks the drone against your whitelist and blacklist, so approved drones don’t trigger a response.
03
Locate the Pilot
Positioning shows the drone’s location, speed and flight path — and where its controller is.
04
Verify
EO and thermal cameras confirm the drone visually and record what they see.
What you get
Clarity before you act
Make & Type
Recognises mainstream brands such as DJI, Autel and Hubsan, plus FPV racing and DIY drones.
Remote ID & DroneID
Reads the identification data many drones broadcast, from up to 3 km for Remote ID and 10 km for DroneID.
Pilot Location
Pinpoints where the operator is, so ground teams can approach the right person.
Whitelist & Blacklist
Mark your own or approved drones as permitted and focus attention on unknown ones.
Signal Insight
Handheld identification shows brand, frequency band and signal strength in the field.
Visual Confirmation
Cameras track the drone day and night to confirm what the RF data shows.
Recommended equipment
Equipment for drone identification
Our most requested models for this capability — many more configurations available.
Remote ID is identification information that many modern drones broadcast while flying, similar to a digital licence plate. Our fixed and all-scenario detectors can read it.
Cameras aren’t essential, but they add visual confirmation and recorded evidence, and they can track drones that aren’t transmitting.
Beyond the featured range
Many more equipment configurations available
The five products on this site are our most requested. We also supply a much wider range of detection, tracking and response equipment — in different ranges, frequency bands and mounting options — and can put together a configuration for your exact site or operation.
